What is the Artistyle Designs Custom Pattern Design & Drafting service?
Our service includes one or more of the following:
- a complimentary consultation to discuss your garment ideas.
- a technical flat (i.e., line drawing) of your garment design.
- a completed garment pattern drafted from your proven, well-fitting sloper/block or body blueprint pattern and based on the garment idea you provide.
- instructions for you to draft the garment pattern.
- instructions for constructing the garment pattern.
How does Custom Pattern Design & Drafting work?
The steps for engaging Custom Pattern Design & Drafting services are as follows:
- To initiate the process, you must complete the Consultation Request form below.
- Artistyle Designs will contact you to set up a consultation appointment.
- You will participate in the consultation appointment to discuss your garment ideas.
- Artistyle Designs will provide a quote for the services discussed during the consultation, including the technical flat of your garment design.
- If you decide to engage our services, Artistyle Designs will send you a Pattern Design & Drafting services contract to complete and sign.
- Once Artistyle Designs has received your deposit, we will draft your pattern, create drafting instructions, and/or create sewing instructions, per the signed agreement.
- Once Artistyle Designs has received your final payment, you will receive a link to download your product(s), or your pattern will be shipped to you. If you elected to have the pattern printed and shipped to you, you will receive it via the pattern printing company.
What does Custom Pattern Design & Drafting cost?
The cost for Pattern Design & Drafting services varies based on a number of factors such as:
- the complexity of the design.
- the options you select, including:
- pattern drafted for you.
- downloadable A0 (copy shop printable) PDF pattern file.
- downloadable 8 1/2 x 11 PDF pattern file that you will print and assemble.
- downloadable drafting instructions.
- downloadable sewing instructions.
- whether or not the completed pattern will be printed and mailed to you.
